Sanofi-Aventis Europe declares acquisition in Russia of a controlling interest of Joint-Stock Company «Biotone the East», modern factory on manufacture of the insulin, the manufacture certificated according to the European standards and quality assurance of medical products. The agreement on acquisition is signed with investors of the enterprise, including company Bioton S.A., it is told in company Sanofi-Aventis message. According to norms of the legislation, the transaction is subject to approval en face to Russia. After the transaction end which sum is not disclosed, the company will expand manufacture of insulin, making at factory Biotone the East analogues of insulin and human insulin, including Lantus, Apidra, Insuman Bazal and Insuman Slow motion.
